The manager was very helpful and friendly, he went out of his way to help, for instance the famiy room at the top of the building was quite warm, although having 2 fans in there, there was also an air conditioning unit which needed an extension cable to reach the electric socket, on arrival the cable was missing and the manager/guy on shift popped out to get us 1, which made for a more comfortable stay. The hotel is by a busy road, so some noise is to be expected, also the family room which was quite spacious and suited our needs happened to be on the side of the hotel facing the road. There may be rooms which are shielded more from the traffic. We ate out, so lack of food facilities was not a problem for us.

Everything, staff are lovely, owners are lovely, all very accommodating, friendly and brilliant.... bedrooms are absolutely beautiful and the bedding is like being wrapped up in pure silk....so soft, cozy and comfy....I wish I could take the bed and bedding with me. Lovely bar area and lovely outside area....big carpark...just wonderful...I love this hotel so much 👍🏻👍🏻🤩.... can't wait for the kitchen to open after refurb as food is lovely here too 🤩

Exceptionally clean throughout. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Lovely shower and great water pressure. The restaurant wasn't open but I already knew that as I did my research. We was however given several different options in the surrounding area for dinner by the check in staff. The bar was open until 10, reasonably priced. Our room was at the back of the property and we had no noise from the road at all. Very pleasant stay.

The owner of the hotel made himself known to us in a very friendly manner - we were looked after by two managers at the hotel each of whom were extremely friendly and helpful to us ..We met some lovely interesting guests in the bar who were also staying at the hotel - we were able to sit in the sunshine on a beautiful secluded sun terrace to read the newspapers all in all we had a lovely time.

Really nice hotel and I like the renovation that has been done. Really warm welcome from the staff and they were extremely helpful (even printed off some bits for us that we needed for a concert). There was free parking at the hotel despite some of the reviews saying there isn’t And the restaurant was open and had some really good food that kept us going Overall a really good experience
