The manager was very helpful and friendly, he went out of his way to help, for instance the famiy room at the top of the building was quite warm, although having 2 fans in there, there was also an air conditioning unit which needed an extension cable to reach the electric socket, on arrival the cable was missing and the manager/guy on shift popped out to get us 1, which made for a more comfortable stay. The hotel is by a busy road, so some noise is to be expected, also the family room which was quite spacious and suited our needs happened to be on the side of the hotel facing the road. There may be rooms which are shielded more from the traffic. We ate out, so lack of food facilities was not a problem for us.

Location is very good. Easy free parking. Staff are helpful and nice. Rooms very clean. Kettle and tea coffee facilities in the room. Hair dryer in the room. Negatives are, bar is not open permanently, also no food/restaurant, is closed permanently. I asked the reception if I could borrow x2 wine glasses to take to our room, and they were happy to accommodate me. Also, as you come out of the hotel, turn left, and 0.2 mile on the road, there is a bar and restaurant in a holiday camp, and they are very happy for your custom. Also, 1 mile away, there is a wonderful pub that does fantastic food, called Ley Arms, which is really worth a visit. The hotel was good value for money. Nice big and very comfortable bed.

Luca was really helpful and took my luggage upstairs as I am registered disabled. I liked the location to Exeter Racecourse and its easy access from the A38. The room was superb, I liked the fact that it had an aircon unit and a fan. It was spacious and very clean, the bed was huge and really comfy, which makes a change as usually the beds are too hard for me, but I had a super night's sleep. The shower and bathroom were immaculately clean. In fact, I feel it must have been one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. Not even a smear on the shower glass. Perfect! Thank you, Erica, for doing such a lovely job!!

Nice room, very clean and comfy. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We arrived after the reception had closed, so we did a phone check in and they guided me step by step and made sure I had everything I needed and got inside my room without any issues. Room was very nice and big and comfortable. There were very nice lamps and you could change the colour of the bed side table lamp, creating a really nice atmosphere.

Really nice hotel and I like the renovation that has been done. Really warm welcome from the staff and they were extremely helpful (even printed off some bits for us that we needed for a concert). There was free parking at the hotel despite some of the reviews saying there isn’t And the restaurant was open and had some really good food that kept us going Overall a really good experience
